GreenStPhotography
is a partnership between two photographers, Leah Washington
and Andrew
Phillips, who live in Old Town Alexandria, VA. Green St. epitomizes
the convergence
of events that led us to joining our talents. Leah moved to Alexandria
in 2005 just a
few blocks (down Green St)
from Andrew. A few months later, a coffee shop on the corner,
Perk Up,
came under newer and friendlier management. Over many
caffeinated
beverages, we decided that this would be a great place to exhibit our
work.
Once we decided to formalize our partnership, the challenge
of
deciding on a name for ourselves was our first task. Given
our respective locations
and our penchant for consuming coffee, GreenStPhotography seemed the
most appropriate.
